Wolverhampton Wanderers haven’t been able to ensure consistency in recent times as they continue to slide down the table, so the January transfer window is much-needed.
The Midlands club would have had their sights on a European place after their fine start to proceedings, but things have taken a turn for the worse as they can’t seem to make the most of their chances. Although, it appears as if the club has secured a big player agreement, as according to Wolves’ official website, Oskar Buur has signed a new deal.

Interestingly, the Danish defender had his moment in the spotlight back in April as he came off the bench to head home a late equaliser and earn Wolves a crucial point against Hull City at Molineux.
And, with the full-back becoming a regular in first-team training, Buur was part of the pre-season tour of Switzerland and featured for Nuno in friendly matches during the summer.
THE VERDICT:
Oskar Buur has already shown plenty of promise in the first-team and will play a big part in the future of the club, so Nuno Espirito Santo will be delighted to have secured his services on a long-term deal.
The Midlands club have been able to get the very best out of Morgan Gibbs-White so far this season in the Premier League, and they have another promising player in the form of Buur coming up through the ranks, so the future is looking very bright for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
