The Liverpool fans in the Transfer Tavern were delighted with their latest performance as they brushed aside Brighton and Hove Albion to claim an easy three points yesterday.
But the Liverpool fans were even more pleased with the performance of their little Brazilian play maker Philippe Coutinho.
Coutinho struck a goal to add to his three assists at the AMEX Stadium in an exceptional personal display.
His goal was a moment of real magic.
With his free kick positioned in a dangerous area, he fooled the wall by making them jump and then rolled it audaciously underneath the Brighton defenders and into the net with the goalkeeper stranded.
It brought back memories of the last time he scored such a goal – against West Ham in the FA Cup two seasons ago.
