Crystal Palace started their season off ideally as they managed to beat Southampton 1-0 at Selhurst Park on Saturday. Despite the good performance, the transfer window is still open and recent reports suggest that the Eagles are keen on Said Benrahma.
According to Sky Sports, and tweeted out by Palace Xtra, Palace are interested in the Brentford forward. Club officials are due to meet Benrahma’s advisors about the possibility of doing a deal but the Bees will only sell if a potential buyer meets their valuation for the player.
There is no doubting the quality that Benrahma has as last season he managed 17 goals and nine assists, per Transfermarkt, along with averaging 3.8 shots, 2.1 key passes and three successful dribbles per game, via WhoScored.
Therefore, for a club like Palace, who only managed only 31 goals in the Premier League last term (the second lowest in the division), signing a player who has such great attacking intent like Benrahma should really help them to improve in that department.
