Leeds United have not had the best of seasons when it comes down to the treatment room.
A number of key players have had to spend time out on the sidelines as Marcelo Bielsa looks to keep his side challenging for a place in next year’s Premier League campaign.
The Argentine has managed to keep his side within reach of the top of the Championship and will look for his team to return to winning ways against Bristol City on Saturday.
One man that has been on the sidelines for the last few months is Patrick Bamford, however, the 25-year-old appears to be impressing his manager in training as he looks to make an expected return in the new year.
The striker posted a video on Instagram after scoring a cracking volley during a training drill and it appears that Bielsa loved it, running over to him in celebration.
The Verdict:
Although the clip on Instagram shows the kind of team spirit within the squad, Leeds fans will be delighted to see Bamford back in some form of action and looking at his best.
The £9million summer signing suffered a serious injury before he could get his Elland Road career underway, however, if that is anything to go by, the Whites will be excited to see him back on the pitch.
Leeds will need to return to winning ways quickly, and should they still be in contention for an automatic promotion spot when the 25-year-old returns, Bamford could give them an excellent chance of returning to the promised land.
