Tottenham fans at the Tavern are still recovering from their dreadful end to the season, which saw the unbearable St Totteringham’s day occur for a 21st successive year.

The Tottenham players themselves, still don’t look to be over the painful end as they are under-performing in France this summer.

Tottenham did however, surprise everyone this season, the youthful Spurs side finished in a very respectable third place and shocked the world with a series of incredible performances.

Tottenham have the knack of playing some of the best young players in the world and their youth side has some real quality.

Lots of players will take great confidence from the sudden rise of Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

Tottenham will want to want to improve on their 3rd place finish and judging by their performance in 2015/16, playing young talent may be the way to do it.

Ben Davies

Davies may not be the youngest player in the Spurs side but he surely still counts as a youngster.

His heroics for Wales against Slovakia demonstrates his quality and some Welsh fans at the Tavern (and Gareth Bale) think that he could make it into the England side ahead of Spurs left back Danny Rose.

Bale himself joined Spurs as a young full back and some may say that he excelled.

Nathan Oduwa

If you haven’t seen this boy play, you need to.

The skilful youngster spent the first half of the season on loan at Rangers where he became an instant hero after his infamous rainbow flick.

He is quick, confident and perhaps the next big thing in North London.

The Landlord at the Tavern sees a hint of Neymar in the Spurs man.

Dominic Ball

Ball is another youngster who spent last season at Rangers.

The 20- year-old was instrumental in Rangers’ successful season which saw them win the Championship and the Challenge Cup.

Ball can play at centre back and central defensive midfield and has hints of Eric Dier and Toby Aldeweireld in his game.

He could definitely be a star for Spurs in the future and the Rangers supporters at the Tavern are sad to see him return to North London.
