The resident Reds were celebrating in the Transfer Tavern yesterday evening, following their side’s classy 4-0 victory over Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Liverpool went into the their clash with Bournemouth looking to return to winning ways after recording back to back draws in the Premier League, and they made no mistake in claiming 3 points on the South-Coast. The attacking dynamism that has characterised plenty of Liverpool’s performances so far this season was displayed in abundance throughout proceedings, whilst The Cherries struggled to make any sort of impression in-front of their loyal supporters.
After the full-time whistle blew, the kopites propping up the bar in the tavern were lauding the performance of their side, and they were eager to dish out special praise to plenty of individuals.
Liverpool’s captain Jordan Henderson has come in for plenty of criticism in recent weeks, but some of his greatest critics were happy to admit that he was vastly improved in a more advanced role yesterday afternoon.
However, judging by the reaction on Twitter, this opinion has certainly not been shared by the entirety of Liverpool’s fan base .
It appears that Henderson still has plenty of improving to do if he wishes to become a true fan-favourite at the club.
Here’s what a handful of supporters had to say about Henderson’s performance against Bournemouth…
Tremendous bench player, yeah!

Jordan Henderson, seen him get called the 'quarterback' of the team, if this analogy was to be correct, he would be the Tim Tebow of quarterbacks, fella can't pass a ball #LFC
