Portsmouth: Many fans want Kenny Jackett out

Kenny Jackett’s Portsmouth side lost 1-0 against Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, after a penalty from Adebayo Akinfenwa.

This puts Pompey 20th in League One with six points, just one place and two points above the relegation zone, though they do have two games in hand on many of the teams around them, as per BBC Sport.

Despite the loss coming against a side who are currently third, when the club’s official Twitter account posted about the result, the response was never going to be the best considering the circumstances:

The main point of focus for many Pompey fans in the replies section is that they want Jackett out of their club, a sense of feeling that has been building, as many of the club’s supporters have grown increasingly frustrated with him.

The pressure is certainly building on the manager, so he will be hoping he can pull off a Carabao Cup win against Southampton in the hope it will help ease it.
