The new Premier League season is just around the corner – that’s despite the Club World Cup only recently drawing to a close as Chelsea chase the ultimate glory in the United States.

But for the rest of the English top flight, clubs are gearing up for their return to competitive action as the new campaign nears.

And with teams jetting off around the world this summer, it can be difficult to keep track of everything going on ahead of the new season.

Here is every pre-season fixture for the 20 Premier League clubs, including kick-off times and the latest results.

Arsenal

Gunners face North London derby and Spanish duo

Arsenal celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Arsenal’s pre-season gets underway in late July when they head to Singapore for the start of their Asia tour. There, they will play Milan and Premier League rivals Newcastle before facing local foes Spurs in Hong Kong.

Mikel Arteta’s side round off their programme with two clashes against Spanish opposition at home, with Villarreal visiting in early August, followed by an Emirates Cup tie against Athletic Club.

Aston Villa

Packed schedule as Emery gears up for another Europa tilt

Aston Villa's Ezri Konsa and Ian Maatsen celebrate in the Premier League.

Aston Villa will be physically tested ahead of their Premier League opener against Newcastle, with eight friendlies pencilled in before the start of the season.

They open up, as ever, with a tie at Walsall, before heading to Germany to face Hansa Rostock.

Unai Emery’s side then head to the United States for three matches, with a clash against the Spaniard’s former side, Villarreal, rounding off their hectic preparations.

Bournemouth

Cherries returning Stateside for pre-season trilogy

Bournemouth's Antoine Semenyo and Marcus Tavernier celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

The highlight of Bournemouth’s pre-season preparations will be their trip to the United States to take part in the Premier League Summer Series for three clashes against familiar top-flight rivals.

That is sandwiched by a pair of behind-closed-doors friendlies and a send-off at the Vitality Stadium against Real Sociedad ahead of the big kick-off against Liverpool.

Brentford

Three friendlies confirmed for the Bees

Brentford celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Brentford have only confirmed three pre-season friendlies, with a trip to Portuguese outfit Gil Vicente set to kick off preparations under Keith Andrews.

The Bees will also take on Queens Park Rangers in an all-west London clash, before rounding off their programme against Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in front of the Brentford faithful.

Brighton & Hove Albion

Seagulls to meet south coast rivals and Bundesliga side

Brighton celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Brighton have two intriguing pre-season clashes in the books for early August, with a battle on the south coast against Southampton putting Fabian Hurzeler’s side through their paces.

They will end their pre-season against German Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg at the Amex Stadium, while more fixtures could be announced in the coming days.

Burnley

Clarets install testing schedule ahead of PL return

Burnley celebrate a goal in the Championship.

Scott Parker’s Burnley have four clashes lined up ahead of their latest Premier League campaign.

The first two are part of a same-day double-header against Huddersfield Town and Shrewsbury Town, while early August will see them take on Stoke City and a glamour tie against Serie A’s Lazio at Turf Moor.

Chelsea

August weekender awaits amid Club World Cup campaign

With Chelsea spending most of the summer at the Club World Cup, the Blues don’t have an awful amount of time to rest up and play some friendlies before the Premier League kick-off.

Their run to the final in the United States means that their 2024/25 campaign will barely be over by the time other clubs have started their pre-season preparations on the pitch.

They will still face top-class opponents ahead of their season opener against Crystal Palace, with Bayer Leverkusen and Milan visiting Stamford Bridge in August.

Crystal Palace

Glasner taking Eagles to Austria for pre-season camp

Crystal Palace celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Oliver Glasner’s FA Cup winners will be heading to his homeland in preparation for the new Premier League season.

Crystal Palace start their pre-season against Millwall and Crawley before travelling to just outside Salzburg for a series of games, including two 60-minute clashes against Mainz and two back-to-back matches against Augsburg.

Palace will then return to Wembley to take on Liverpool in the Community Shield.

Everton

Roma confirmed as first opponents at new home

Everton's Iliman Ndiaye celebrates a goal in the Premier League.

Everton are another of the top-flight clubs taking part in the Premier League Summer Series, with the Toffees jetting off to the US in late July.

Before then, they take on Accrington Stanley and Blackburn Rovers, while Roma will visit the Hill Dickinson Stadium in what will be the senior team’s first outing at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Fulham

Pair of friendlies confirmed for Silva’s Cottagers

Fulham have a couple of friendlies in the books ahead of the new season, with no sign of a tour overseas.

They will take on Nottingham Forest in Portugal in late July, while they will also welcome Eintracht Frankfurt to Craven Cottage a week out from the Premier League kick-off.

Leeds United celebrate a goal in the Championship.

Leeds United will take on some big European sides ahead of their return to the Premier League.

A clash against Manchester United in Stockholm gets things underway for Daniel Farke’s side, while two games in early August add further glamour to their preparations, with Villarreal visiting Elland Road and Milan taking on the Whites in Dublin.

Liverpool

Reds set for Asia trip and Wembley visit

Arne Slot lifts the Premier League title for Liverpool.

Liverpool kick off their pre-season away at Preston North End, with the Reds travelling to Asia two weeks later to face Milan and Yokohama F. Marinos.

Arne Slot’s side then return to Anfield for two games in one day against Athletic Club, with their pre-season programme concluding with a Community Shield clash against Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.

Manchester City

Manchester City celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Manchester City’s pre-season plans have been affected by their participation in the Club World Cup, with their last-16 exit affording some much-needed rest ahead of the new season.

The Citizens have confirmed one pre-season clash, with a trip to Sicily in the diary as they face newly promoted Serie A side Palermo.

Manchester United

Premier League trio await on US trip

Manchester United's Patrick Dorgu, Amad Diallo and Bruno Fernandes celebrate a goal in the Premier League.

Manchester United kick off their first pre-season with Ruben Amorim in Stockholm, which hosts a clash with newly promoted rivals Leeds United.

The Red Devils are also taking part in the Premier League Summer Series in the United States, facing three top-flight sides across the US, including a clash at the MetLife Stadium in late July.

United return to Old Trafford to cap things off, with Fiorentina visiting ahead of their season opener against Arsenal.

Celtic are their first opponents before the Magpies head to Singapore to face Arsenal. South Korea is their next destination, where a K-League XI and Spurs await.

Two matches at St James’ against Espanyol and Atletico Madrid will give fans plenty to ponder over ahead of the new campaign.
