Celtic fans on Twitter really enjoyed seeing Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester lose

Celtic fans have been giving it big ones to Brendan Rodgers for the manner of his departure from Parkhead last week. The Northern Irishman didn’t exactly keep the Bhoys on his side as he scarpered back down south when the Premier League came calling, and when he fell to a 2-1 defeat in his first game yesterday the Hoops were on hand to mock.

Goals at the very beginning and very end of the game from Troy Deeney and Andre Gray were enough to down Rodgers’ in his first game in charge of the Foxes, and like Moths to a flame, the Celtic fans were there to bombard Leicester City’s official Twitter account with abuse and laughter. It might seem petty from the Bhoys, but they have no shame in mocking their former gaffer and will hope he’s sacked soon.

Meanwhile, Celtic fans loved the way their weekends went. They were able to record a fairly routine 2-0 win over Motherwell in the Scottish Cup to reach the last four of the competition, and they’ll fancy their chances of completing their third treble in three years. It was, of course, Rodgers who started that run, but it looks like the fans are enjoying watching him struggle at Leicester more than they ever enjoyed his football at Parkhead.

The Bhoys absolutely loved seeing Watford down the Foxes and will be tuning into Leicester vs Fulham next week hoping for another Rodgers’ disasterclass.
