Manchester United fans were left fuming with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer following some of the remarks he made in his post-match interview after the Sheffield United clash on Sunday afternoon.
Ole: “The difference between this year's team and last year's team is huge. At 2-0 down I'm thinking, my mind is going back to Everton, no doubt about the drive, the energy, the attitude of these boys. They never give in. Last year we would have been 3, 4, 5-0 down.” #mufc [Sky]

Arguably, the Red Devils were fortunate to even be in the game and have an opportunity of taking all three points when John Fleck and Lys Mousset looked to put the game beyond them, however the Premier League giants managed to stun everyone.
A seven-minute salvo saw Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford turned the contest completely on its head when they put United ahead with just ten minutes or so to go, however Oli McBurnie managed to get the vital goal back for the Blades to ensure they did not come away from the game empty-handed (Sky Sports).
Solskjaer conducted his post-match duties as normal, however it appears one of the comments he made when being interviewed struck a nerve with a number of fans on Twitter.
The manager, as relayed by United Xtra on Twitter, claimed that the mentality of his team compared to the one of a year ago was completely different, suggesting that his team are a lot better than the one that he witnessed collapse against Everton at Goodison Park towards the end of last season.
However, fans were not buying his comments, with many believing that he was well out of his depth whilst others felt it was embarrassing.
Here are just some of their reactions…

Wow.what a achievement. Last year we were conceding 5 now 3.He is not even accepting that we were poor and strategy was poor then how will he fix if he does not know the problem.

Shameless from the manager. A draw is an acceptable result now.
