With what happened in the summer transfer window, it remains to be seen if whether Tottenham Hotspur will make any additions to their squad this winter.
The rumour mill continues to spin and Spurs have been linked with a number of players that Mauricio Pochettino could look to bring to the Premier League outfit.
And, according to a report in Italy, it appears the north London club have already made an approach for one man.
The 22-year-old is thought to be keen on the prospect of playing Champions League football and could be open to a move, with the Serie A side struggling.
An Ivory Coast international, Kessie is thought to have a number of potential suitors and had attracted interest in the summer transfer window as well.
Kessie could be an excellent addition for Tottenham, although it could be extremely difficult to land him in January.
Valued at £31.5million by Transfermarkt, the Ivorian could be a great replacement for the likes of Victor Wanyama and Mousa Dembele, with the pair’s future in the air.
However, Milan are unlikely to want to sell one of their star men this season and will want to keep him at the San Siro to boost their own chances of getting Champions League football.
