Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been left very frustrated by their side surrendering a two-goal lead against Olympiacos on Wednesday, eventually drawing 2-2 during their maiden Champions League game of the season.
This meant that the club’s Twitter account faced a barrage of negative tweets upon the full-time whistle:

However, the criticism was not only reserved for Mauricio Pochettino and the team’s defensive players, as many targeted Christian Eriksen.
The Denmark international is rejecting all contract offers from Spurs, as he hopes to push through a move to Real Madrid, as reported by The Express.
This seems to have made him a bigger target, as many Spurs fans called him a ‘disgrace’ and ’embarrassing’, while there was some stronger language for him in the replies.
Eriksen didn’t take any shots or complete any dribbles against Olympiacos, but did make 3 key passes, 2 tackles and 1 clearance, as per WhoScored.
