West Ham: Fans want Manuel Pellegrini out after Arsenal loss

Manuel Pellegrini’s West Ham United suffered an eighth league defeat of the season (Transfermarkt) on Monday evening as they went down 3-1 to Arsenal at the London Stadium.

It was another poor performance from the Hammers, who are now just one point above the relegation zone following the loss (BBC Sport).

The season is unravelling fast for the east London outfit and many fans seem to have lost faith in Pellegrini. The ex-Manchester City manager is really struggling to get a tune from his players, despite making several tweaks in recent weeks.

Indeed, he has dropped big names such as Sebastien Haller, who wasn’t in the starting 11 against the Gunners (Transfermarkt), but it simply isn’t working and they have now lost seven of their last nine in the Premier League (Transfermarkt).

Several supporters have been calling for the Chilean’s head on social media following the game as the club are getting sucked into a relegation battle. One supporter said the club should have retained the services of David Moyes instead.

Without question the worst team to come to the London stadium this season, and yet we back off in the second half to protect a 1-0 lead against the worst defense we will ever come up against. He needs to be gone, it’s inexcusable at this point

We need a manager that can get the best out of average players not a manager who is used to working with £70m players. @davidgold Pellegrini isn’t working. We lack everything and he is clueless with the class of players we have. Get Julian Dicks in to kick some butts!!!!
