Frank De Boer is proving to be a divisive figure in the Transfer Tavern after a difficult start to life as Crystal Palace manager.
The Dutchman is clearly trying to build something at Selhurst Park, though our south London locals are unsure just how long it will take after losing all three games thus far.
So, reports from the Daily Mail have barely come as surprising.
They claim the Eagles are looking for another manager already as those behind the scenes start to concede they made a mistake in appointing the former Ajax and Inter Milan coach.
The process of finding a new coach is believed to have actively begun despite emergency talks between De Boer and chariman, Steve Parish.
Senior figures in Croydon are believed to have been alarmed by the former Barcelona star’s style of management and Parish is even said to have explored the possibility of bringing the recently-retired Sam Allardyce back to the club.
De Boer is now thought to have been given any assurances over his future, though is said to be planning for the trip to Burnley on September 10th.
It’s yet another mess for Palace and our punters hope the Dutchman is given time.

De Boer was seen as the man to finally take Palace on to the next level, after previously floating between managers and systems just to survive.
How can he improve them after just three games? Surely those behind the scenes imagined how much of a change it would be and he should be given time accordingly.
