It’s safe to say that Nuno Espirito Santo has made a name for himself at Molineux as he continues to get the very best out of his hugely ambitious Wolverhampton Wanderers side.
The Midlands club are definitely well known among the Premier League’s top-six as they’ve taken a number of points off most of the sides, as well as knocking Liverpool and Manchester United out of the FA Cup.
Wolves have worked wonders in transfer windows gone by as they continue to recruit special talents with the help of super agent Jorge Mendes. And, it’s one of his clients who’s received the most amount of attention at Molineux over the course of this season, as Raul Jimenez continues to set the Premier League alight.
Although, Wolves fans aren’t the only ones who have noticed his magnificent run of form as BBC Sport pundit Garth Crooks named him in his team of the week column recently. Crooks was full of praise for the Mexican as he compared him to a Wolves legend, John Richards.
Raul Jimenez has proved to be the signing of the summer for Wolves as he’s spearheaded their push for silverware in the FA Cup and their pursuit of a European spot in the Premier League.
Many Wolves fans will agree that a natural goalscorer has been missing at Molineux in recent years, despite Benik Afobe enjoying some success, so it’s nice to finally see a deadly striker leading the line.
So, the only thing to do now is to turn his loan deal into a permanent one.
Wolverhampton Wanderers fans, do you believe Jimenez is already in the same bracket as John Richards? Join the discussion by commenting below…
