Yesterday saw one of the games of the season unfold at Loftus Road. QPR welcomed Birmingham City to London, and they played out a sublime game of football. However, after being 4-0 down in 42 minutes before making it 4-3, Nahki Wells missed a 93rd-minute penalty that would have given them a crucial point.

Camp denies @nahkiwells from the spot.

The fans were absolutely fuming with the fact that they couldn’t score from 12 yards after doing all of the hard work to graft themselves back into the game. The Hoops will feel like it was one point lost, even though they did so well to make it 4-3 from being totally blown away by Birmingham inside the first 42 minutes, which included a 21-minute hat-trick from Che Adams.
The fans can’t get too annoyed at their side, as they put in a massive shift to make the game a contest again, and they never gave up looking for a result, even when they faced the prospect of losing six or seven nil at times in the first half. However, as it was, the fans had to settle for late heartbreak when Wells couldn’t convert for what would’ve been his 7th Championship goal of the season.
