Chris Hughton took over at Brighton on New Year’s Eve 2014 with the Seagulls just outside the Championship relegation zone and ultimately guided them into the Premier League, where they have remained ever since.
The Irishman is no longer in charge at the Amex Stadium, having been relieved of his duties just after the end of the 2018/19 season, but with Brighton on course for a fourth successive season in the top flight, his contribution in that period of success for the club should never be overlooked.
