Leeds United haven’t been able to ensure consistency at all times in the current campaign as they fell off the pace prior to the international break.
The Whites can’t afford many more slip-ups if they are to secure promotion to the Premier League this season as the teams around them all seem to be picking up points.
However, with the January transfer window right around the corner, Andrea Radrizzani and Marcelo Bielsa will already have a number of players in mind to boost their chances of securing automatic promotion.
All of the pressure is on Radrizzani as he could come under fire if he doesn’t get things spot on.
With that in mind, Radrizzani would be digging himself into a Leeds grave by not signing these TWO players…
FERNANDO LLORENTE
Patrick Bamford has only returned to training recently and Kemar Roofe has struggled with an injury already this season, so the Whites could definitely do with bringing in a back-up striker.
Adding another experienced striker in the form of Fernando Llorente wouldn’t be the worst idea for Leeds, as he has the quality to make a difference at the Championship level.
The Spaniard hasn’t enjoyed the rub of the green during his time in North London, but he could definitely have an impact off the substitutes’ bench for Leeds United.
STEFAN JOHANSEN
Stefan Johansen was one of the standout performers for Fulham in the Championship last season as he played a huge part in their promotion push by scoring eight goals and producing nine assists.
However, the 27-year-old has spent most of his time on the substitutes’ bench this season, which has frustrated him at times, so he could be open to a move in January.
The Whites have lacked a cutting edge at times in the final third with Samu Saiz constantly putting in less than convincing performances, so moving for Norwegian would be sure to bolster their promotion chances.
