Loads of Rangers fans loved the showing of midfielder Ryan Kent after his side’s 4-1 victory against Hamilton in the Scottish Cup fifth round.
Having received criticism in midweek against Hibernian, the 23-year-old answered his doubters in the best way possible. His performance on the wing helped provide the crucial assist after a wonderful delivery for Joe Aribo who scored the Glasgow side’s 4th. A brace from Scott Arfield and a goal from Alfredo Morelos rounded up the scoring tally.
Manager Steven Gerrard commemorated his performance after a solid 82 minutes at New Douglas Park, who players looking up to him in the form of youngster Kai Kennedy after he described his decision-making as “unbelievable“. Supporters were delighted for Kent and made their feelings clear on social media. One fan appreciated seeing him at his best, while another simply put “lovely” as this is what he wanted to see from Kent.
