Many Rangers fans are calling for the resignation of SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster after further developments in the increasingly contentious SPFL resolution affair.
The organisation had initially proposed to end the Scottish leagues as they currently stand and pay out prize money to clubs for a timely injection of cash, with no matchday income due to the cessation of football amid the coronavirus pandemic, but Rangers criticised those proposals as “abhorrent” and accused the SPFL of trying to bully clubs into voting for their proposed resolution.
After the SPFL rejected a proposal from the Ibrox club not to scrap the 2019/20 season, it emerged that Dundee’s attempts to vote on the league’s resolution ballot had not been received by the SPFL. Subsequently, Rangers released a club statement calling for Doncaster and legal adviser Rod McKenzie to resign.
Those calls were echoed by a number of ‘Gers fans on Twitter, with these supporters making their feelings known on the matter:
This is all leads to one place and one place alone. Their influence is far and wide. I am not paranoid. We are dealing with fact and fact only. This has to be addressed. #DoncasterOut

And so the plot thickens with the club statement made in the last 15 minutes.
We must route out these rats and expose the SPFL for what they are.
