Rangers confirmed on Monday that teenage goalkeeper Kieran Wright has agreed a new contract with the club.
The Light Blues’ official website rangers.co.uk announced that the 19-year-old has extended his stay at Ibrox until 2021, with the news also shared on the club’s official Twitter channel @RangersFC.
The youngster took to his own Twitter profile @kieranwright01 to express his delight at penning a new deal with the ‘Gers.

As noted by rangers.co.uk, Wright has been training with the first team for a while and frequently been backup to the pool of senior goalkeepers at Rangers, having spent more than a decade in the club’s academy along with gaining first-team experience with loan spells at Gala Fairydean, Albion Rovers and Raith Rovers.
He has played in four matches for the ‘Gers in this season’s Scottish Challenge Cup, with clean sheets in three of those and just one goal scored against him in that run. [via TransferMarkt]
