Rangers: Fans critical of Glen Kamara’s performance in win over Ross County

A number of Rangers fans were left rather unimpressed by the performance of midfielder Glen Kamara on Wednesday night.

The Finland international came under fire from some ‘Gers supporters after last Sunday’s defeat at Hearts and he again bore the brunt of criticism from a portion of the Ibrox fan base following the midweek win over Ross County.

Kamara, who cost Rangers just £50,000 when he joined from Dundee this time last year (as per BBC), made his 15th Premiership start of the season on Wednesday and his seventh in a row in the league, but the standard of his ball distribution was questioned by some reporters after the 2-0 win over the Dingwall outfit.

James Black of Rangers News said that the 24-year-old “had a few sloppy moments on the ball as he uncharacteristically gave possession away several times” while The 4th Official‘s Ayush Chaurasia felt that he “had a mixed bag of a game” and “failed to pick the right pass sometimes”.

These ‘Gers fans on Twitter thought that Kamara was well below his best in the win over Ross County, with many feeling that his performance was indicative of the cut-price transfer fee paid for him:
