Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to tell Borna Barisic to take advantage of Jon Flanagan’s latest injury and finally make the step up they have been keen for him to make.

The former Liverpool defender had to undergo the knife once again a couple of months after a hernia operation ruled him out of the opening stages of the Scottish Premiership campaign.
Flanagan appears to have become Steven Gerrard’s first choice in terms of selecting his left-back, as the 26-year-old has made five appearances since becoming available (Transfermarkt).
The defender was also singled out for praise from his manager in the club’s most recent defeat against Old Firm rivals Celtic last weekend as the only individual that could hold their head high.
However, it would appear Rangers fans want Barisic to also be in a similar position to Flanagan and many of them have called on him to make an impression whilst his team-mate has to spend time on the treatment table.
The Croatia international would appear to be the next best option for the Light Blues to fill in at left-back and could have the perfect opportunity to build on the five appearances he has already made so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Unfortunate for JF, but do agree Borna surely on last chances to show, but could be ideal for him.
Last couple of games were looking more towards an improvement. He’ll likely have a few mediocre games, but anything like another Killie showing and he’s done.
