Loads of Rangers fans are drooling over some footage of new signing Ianis Hagi, as it appears he has found a training buddy in fan favourite Alfredo Morelos.
You’d be hard pushed to find a more divisive figure in football than Morelos, who the Ibrox faithful hail as a hero while the rest of Scotland seem intent on making him the villain. The Colombia star may have a new ‘dream team’ partnership like he used to have with Daniel Candeias now though, at least if the fan reactions to the latest training footage are anything to go by.
Hagi signed on Friday on a six-month loan deal from Belgian outfit Genk, per BBC, and the son of legendary Romania star Gheorghe Hagi will certainly have some lofty expectations at Ibrox. If he can from a partnership with goalscoring machine Morelos he will be an instant hit with Gers fans, and the supporters are loving a clip shared by the club showing the pair going out to train together.
One fan said he could be the new Candeias, who had a great relationship with Morelos, while others simply swooned over the footage of their new man…
