Rangers fans everywhere have been taking to Twitter and bugging the admin behind their club’s Twitter account begging for Lafferty to be signed and yesterday they got their wish. The 30-year-old striker was announced yesterday afternoon and the fans are ecstatic. The Gers can read more about the signing on the Rangers website.
#RangersFC are today delighted to announce the signing of Kyle Lafferty (@laffk10) on a two-year deal from @JamTarts.

This signing marks Lafferty’s second spell at the club after he spent four years at Ibrox between 2008 and 2012 and the supporters are delighted that they’ve got their man back. It’s highly unlikely that Lafferty will be included in the matchday squad for their game against FC Ufa tonight but he could well make the bench away at Motherwell on Sunday as Steven Gerrard will have one eye on the return leg against Ufa next Thursday.
In the striker’s first spell at the club, he really struck a chord with the fans as he scored 38 goals in 138 appearances, helping the Bluenoses win three Scottish Premier League titles, two Scottish League Cups and a single Scottish Cup. If he can help the side win any silverware in his first season back, though, it will mean more to the supporters than any of his previous honours did.
