Rangers fans on Twitter fume at SPFL’s TOTW

After every game week in Scottish football, the SPFL take to Twitter to share their team of the week, the eleven best players from the weekend’s action, however, the rule to only include one player per team is ludicrous and has got a lot of Gers riled up this week.

If it’s any consolation to the disgruntled Rangers fans who have been fuming that Scott Arfield isn’t the team, the player that they did have selected in the side, young Eros Grezda, won the star man award for the week, being the best performer in Scottish football for the weekend after he scored a well taken double and set up one more during The Bluenoses impressive 7-1 thumping of Motherwell.

The only thing that has frustrated the Gers is that their side, despite winning 7-1 has only got one player in the team of the week. It would be easy to make cases for half a dozen Rangers lads to be in that side as well as Grezda, and the fact that Scott Arfield hasn’t even got a mention from the SPFL despite scoring a brace from midfield and tearing Motherwell to shreds on Sunday.
