Rangers fans were left furious by the performance of Sheyi Ojo on Sunday, as they suffered their first major setback in the title race in a 2-1 defeat to Hearts.
After the momentous win over Celtic, Gers fans would have known full well there would be plenty more twists and turns in the title race. They may not have expected the first gut-wrenching twist to come so soon and at the bottom-placed side however, as Steven Gerrard’s side looked completely stale without Alfredo Morelos.
Ryan Kent fired the visitors at Tynecastle in front, but the lead didn’t last long as Steven Naismith fired home just ten minutes later, and Liam Boyce completed the turnaround ten minutes from time.
Ojo was introduced as a second-half substitute, and it’s fair to say fans weren’t impressed by the 22 year-old, who has five goals and seven assists this season. Signed by Gerrard last summer, the Liverpool loanee’s form has dipped significantly after a positive start in the early Europa League qualifiers, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions to his latest display down below…

Sheyi Ojo should never be in a Rangers kit, no heart or desire whatsoever.

Most annoying thing of this transfer window as a rangers fan? Sheyi ojo hasn’t been sent back

@sheyi_ojo is the worst player to wear that jersey in easily the last 10-15 year no joke. no passion no drive doesnt even look as if he cares. Leagues no by 5 behind wae a game in hand and still 2 old firms to go. theyll drap points same as us. 🇬🇧

Can honestly say @sheyi_ojo is one of my least favourite players of all time to wear a rangers jersey and I include the time we spent in the lower divisions. No passion, no urgency, no place at Rangers! That being said, not one player today was good enough…
