Rangers fans have been taking to Twitter in a rather upset mood after finding out how much it will be to watch the Light Blues in Europa League action at Ibrox this season.

Steven Gerrard’s side will be in the group stages of the competition for the second campaign in a row after overcoming the likes of St. Joseph’s, Progres Niederkorn, FC Midjtylland and Legia Warsaw with relative ease – the Glaswegians only conceded three goals at an average of 0.4 (UEFA Europa League official website).
Having progressed to the next round of the tournament, the Light Blues will be able to look forward to contests against the likes of Feyenoord, BSC Young Boys and Porto.
It would certainly be no surprise that a number of the club’s supporters would like to be able to witness their side go up against some of Europe’s toughest opponents, however it appears they could be left significantly left out of pocket if they do wish to watch them in action.
According to the club’s official website, season ticket holders at Ibrox are believed to have to fork out an extra £111 if they wish to watch their side in all three home ties – a further £39 extra than bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic and likely to add further salt to the wound.
Many were unhappy with the price they have been quoted and took to Twitter to share their reactions.
Here are just some of them…

Why have rangers no seriously thought about pay by game for european games yet? £111 is alot especially a week before i get paid when my season ticket just came off yesterday

Why did Rangers not split the payments? £111 in one payment is a significant amount for a lot of fans.
