Loads of Rangers fans couldn’t quite believe their eyes on Sunday afternoon, as one of their best players of the season, Glen Kamara, produced a nightmarish display in the defeat to Hearts.
Kamara has become an extremely popular figure at Ibrox due to the measly £50,000 transfer fee the club paid to bring him to the Glasgow, as it has often seemed as though there are a couple of zeros missing off that sum. It didn’t see that way on Sunday though, as the Finland international looked completely off the pace.
After Ryan Kent fired Steven Gerrard’s side in front at Tynecastle, it was Kamara’s dawdling on the ball that led to Steven Naismith’s equaliser, and it certainly wasn’t the first time in the match he had been caught out.
The 24 year-old seemed like he was wearing two concrete blocks on his feet as he repeatedly got the ball stuck under his feet and failed to control simple passes, leading fans to lash out at his display on Twitter. Check out some of the best responses down below…

Sorry to say this but you’ll not see a poorer performance than the one Glen Kamara has put in today.
60 mins to forget, casual, lethargic, truly a performance he will want to forget.— NaeBull (@NaeBull) January 26, 2020
Glen Kamara failing to get the ball out from under his feet in the first half cost us two clear runs in on their goal. By the second half it cost us even a point. That and the horrendous shooting by three different players in one-on-ones confirms it was mental laxity yesterday.

That goal is down to Glen Kamara again dwelling on the ball. Get him off the park now. He has been dire today.
