Lots of Rangers fans are still revelling in their Old Firm victory over Celtic, and they’re loving a post from the Croatia national side’s official Twitter account, as they paid tribute to two of the Ibrox heroes.
There’s no prizes for guessing which two Gers players were the subject of praise from Croatia of course, as star men Borna Barisic and Nikola Katic are both full internationals for the World Cup runners up.
Barisic has become something of a fan favourite at Ibrox in his second season with the club, racking up two goals and 13 assists already this campaign.
He set up both goals in the 2-1 victory over Celtic on Sunday, and it was of course his compatriot who was on point to slam home the winner from the left-back’s cross.
Katic’s thumping header was his sixth goal in Rangers colours, as the 23 year-old is forging quite the reputation for his threat from set pieces.
