Rangers fans have got quite attached to some of their loanees this season, and losing them over the summer will be tough to take. The toughest of those will be Ryan Kent, and after the winger won the Scottish Premier League Young Player of the Season award on Sunday he had the Gers begging for him to extend his Ibrox stay.
Proud of this one @ryankent for winning the PFA young player of the year award. A big year both on and off the pitch pic.twitter.com/kLggzPzepm

It will be tough for Steven Gerrard to hold onto Kent over the summer, but the winger falls into a strange category of players. At the age of 22-years-old, the chances are he’s not going to cut it at Anfield anytime soon, however, he’s proven that Rangers is a step below where he wants to be with his performances this season, and his next club will be an interesting one.
Whilst he’s still got youth on his side, though, Kent will be facing another loan next season, and regardless of whether it’s the right for the player or not the Bluenoses want him to find a home at Ibrox yet again. The winger has done great things for them throughout the season and his return of six goals and six assists in the league from out wide make him a valuable asset for Gerrard’s Rangers.

The Bluenoses are desperate to bring Kent in for next season and would do anything to see the winger linking backup with Gerrard for at least another season.
