This summer will be a big one at Ibrox, that much is certain. Last summer saw Steven Gerrard bring in the likes of Scott Arfield, Connor Goldson, Allan McGregor and Ryan Kent, to name a few, and this summer will be just as big. The quality of some of the signings being touted isn’t quite as good this time, though, and the fans aren’t happy.
Rangers closing in on a deal for Greg Stewart and he could still be joined at Ibrox by Jake Hastie and John Souttar https://t.co/buGcJJeBDh

According to Chris Jack of the Evening Times, Gerrard is looking at doing his business from within the Scottish Premier League this summer as he’s eyeing up a treble swoop that will see Greg Stewart, John Souttar and Jake Hastie move to Glasgow. Aberdeen, Motherwell and Hearts won’t be looking on kindly as Rangers look to pinch the best of the SPL bunch, and it seems the Gers aren’t too pleased either.
Given some of the names they’ve been attracting with Gerrard at the helm, with players from the Premier League and other European leagues making their way to Ibrox, it seems that a trio of Scottish Premier League natives isn’t quite as exciting. The bonus is, though, that they know the league well and understand what Scottish football is all about, so whilst there will be complaints from the Bluenoses on Twitter, this could be a bright move from Stevie G.

None of them are the standard we require

Greg Stewart is a complete farce of a signing of we make it it's laughable he had a good 5-6 months at Killie and hasn't kicked a ball since he's has 2 spells at sheep and done nothing this is a terrible and quite honestly embarrassing signing

The Bluenoses are far from happy with these rumours and will be keen to see this story quickly filed away and not to be seen again.
