Rangers: Fans were loving what Jordan Jones tweeted after Kilmarnock victory

Rangers fans were loving what Jordan Jones posted on Twitter following their win against Kilmarnock in their Scottish Premiership opener at the weekend.

The Northern Ireland international was playing against his former club for the first time since completing a move to Ibrox and the home fans decided to jeer him with boos every single time he touched the ball in his 12 minute cameo towards the end of the game.

Those frustrations would have been born out of his reaction to signing a pre-contract with Rangers back in January when he took to the social media site and described the move by saying “I’ve waited for this moment for a long time and today is a dream come true!” whilst also including the #WATP.

Since joining Steven Gerrard’s side, Jones has been eased into things at Ibrox as he has played in just two Europa League matches and is yet to play a full game for the Glaswegians (Transfermarkt).

And, despite not really having the opportunity to make an impact on the pitch at Rugby Park on Sunday, he still managed to leave the Light Blues’ faithful with something to get behind once the 90 minutes were over.

Fans took to Twitter to share their delight at what the 24-year-old posted on Twitter and reacted in their droves with love for one of their newest players.

Here are just some of their reactions…
