Lots of Glasgow Rangers fans have been left gushing over some news that has emerged on Cedric Itten.

As per the official website of the Ibrox faithful, the striker has now been recalled from Greuther Furth, where he was on loan.

He made 12 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring two goals (recall to the Switzerland national team.

According to Whoscored, the 25 year-old has won nearly three aerial duels per game and managed 1.3 shots at goal per match too.

Now, he will be able to help the Teddy Bears for the second half of the season as they look to secure another Scottish Premiership title.

Itten has scored six goals previously for the Light Blues, and will now be hoping to take his chance to impress new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst, after his old boss Steven Gerrard left to join Aston Villa.
