Rangers: Fans love Alfredo Morelos’ Colombia display

Glasgow Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos was in action for Colombia early on Wednesday morning.

Los Cafeteros were in action against Chile in the second game of the South American World Cup 2022 qualifying campaign. After their comfortable win against Venezuela on Saturday, they drew 2-2 against Chile.

24-year-old Morelos, who signed for the Gers for £1.08m in 2017, only came on from the bench, just as he did against Venezuela, but he ended up having a big contribution. It was his control in the box that allowed Johan Mujica to shoot towards Radamel Falcao, who tapped into an empty net.

Now, he has a race on his hands to get back to Scotland for this week’s Old Firm clash against Celtic. However, the Rangers fans were delighted with Morelos’ ‘fantastic‘ international display, and they took to Twitter to share their praise.
