Glasgow Rangers face arguably the biggest match of their season so far against their fierce city rivals tomorrow.
As it stands, the ;Gers are top of the Premiership table, having won eight and drawn two of their opening ten matches. However, they are yet to face Celtic, who are currently in second place and just one point behind with a game in hand. A victory in this match could give Gerrard’s men the confidence to go all the way this season, but defeat would see them cede the initiative to their crosstown rivals.
Of course, this promises to be an Old Firm like no other. Due to the Covid pandemic, there will be no fans at the stadium. There is a chance that some supporters could congregate to watch the fixture, but it will not be the same as being in the ground.
Ahead of the match, SPFL chief Neil Doncaster has written to supporters asking them to stay at home to watch this weekend’s games. It is fair to say that some ‘Gers fans are not happy at all with this latest move – indeed, they do not have a good history with Doncaster.
Will you be staying at home to watch the game?
These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter.
Let’s see what the fans have to say about Doncaster
