Glen Kamara is reportedly now set to leave Glasgow Rangers in the summer on one condition.

The Lowdown: Not his best

Kamara has perhaps not had his best season for the standards that he has set himself since joining the Light Blues.

Some of his performances have been criticised by the media, as he has struggled at times in the league, as Celtic reclaimed the Scottish Premiership title.

Nonetheless, the Teddy Bears would have a decision to make should a big offer come in for the Finland international in the summer.

The Latest: Leaving?

According to Football Insider, sources from Ibrox have revealed that Kamara and the club have an agreement that he will leave this summer but only if their target price is met.

Despite some of his underwhelming performances in the league, talent spotters have been very impressed with his displays in their UEFA Europa League journey, and so could look to make a move after the final against Frankfurt.

The Verdict: Keep

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's team need to try and keep Kamara at all costs.

Once dubbed a ‘Rolls Royce’ by former manager Steven Gerrard, he has been a mainstay in the side, scoring four goals and making a further five assists from midfield (Transfermarkt), and would be a difficult player to replace.

Nonetheless, at 26 years of age, he is about to enter his prime, and so the Light Blues need to make sure that they are the ones that benefit from his development.
