Lots of Glasgow Rangers fans have been left slamming the display of John Lundstram in their away game at Dundee United at Saturday lunchtime.
The former Sheffield United man did not put in the best of performances, so much so that Steven Gerrard decided to take him off shortly after the hosts took a shock lead in the Scottish Premiership match.
Should Rangers have signed Lundstram?
Lundstram failed to make a single interception, clearance or accurate long ball, and also lost possession on five separate occasions (Sofascore), as he really struggled to take hold of the midfield battle.
Of course, having only signed in the summer, the Englishman will need time to settle in at Ibrox, but it seems as if a lot of Gers supporters have not been so forgiving after this performance.
Rangers fans on Lundstram display
These Light Blue fans slammed Lundstram’s performance on Twitter, with one RFC supporter even going as far as to claim that he is ‘garbage’:
“Lundstram needs to not get a start until he learns to move. Lazy player and I see nothing from him to warrant him signing.”
“John Lundstram worst player on the park. But he played Premier League so he must be good”
“Lundstram is garbage really isn’t he. Simply follow the runner and Dundee Utd don’t score. Horrific stuff”
“Lundstram ain’t it”
“We got Lundstram for free and have still be robbed”
“Lundstram is nowhere near good enough poor transfer window gonna cost us dearly”
