Many Glasgow Rangers fans have been left buzzing over some news involving a player in their Academy.
As per the official Twitter page of Rangers B & Academy, Jack Harkness has signed an extension to his contract, which keeps him at Ibrox until the summer of 2023.
At just 17 years of age, the Scotsman is one of a few names in the youth set-up looking to make a name for themselves, after Juan Alegria scored a hat-trick for the Rangers B team last month.
Should Rangers give Harkness a chance?
Harkness was an unused substitute in Rangers B’s 3-0 loss at home to Ayr United in the Scottish Challenge Cup back in September, and will be hoping to get onto the pitch in due course.
Interestingly, he joined the same sports agency as Scottish tennis player and hero Sir Andy Murray in February (Glasgow Times), as he looks to catch the eye off of the pitch as well as on it.
Rangers fans on Harkness contract

“Brilliant news Jack!”
“Brilliant Jack keep up the good work”
“Congrats mate brilliant”
“Love it mate”
“Excellent Jack. Delighted for you mate”
