Rangers: Fans slam referee over Fashion Sakala incident

Rangers: Fans slam referee over Fashion Sakala incident -Rangers News

Many Glasgow Rangers fans have been left slamming the referee after he gave Fashion Sakala Jr a yellow card in the first half of their Europa League game.

It did seem as if Andreas Bruus, the player who was adjudged to have been fouled by the striker, certainly made the most of the contact, which appeared to be very little.

Still, Nikola Dabanovic decided that it was worthy of a booking, much to the dismay of the Ibrox faithful, which was intensified when Leon Balogun headed the ball into his own net from a corner kick not long after to put the Danish outfit 1-0 up half-time.

Should Rangers start Sakala?

It meant that Sakala could not get stuck in as much as he would have liked, losing out on no fewer than seven of his own individual duels as a result before being taken off early on in the second half for Scott Arfield. (SofaScore).

Nonetheless, several Light Blues supporters were fuming with the decision.
