James Tavernier has moved into ninth place in UEFA’s FedEx Europa League Power Rankings, ahead of the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Recognition for Tavernier

Is James Tavernier a Rangers legend?
He really is leading by example, fully matching what many expect of their captain. The 28-year-old has come a long way from being on the end of intense criticism from portions of the club’s fanbase in the past. If the ‘Gers are to win anything this campaign, it is vital that Tavernier continues to perform at this level. There is no doubt that he is now Steven Gerrard’s go-to man at the back.
