Considering they have won the Scottish league a record 54 times, it is fair to say that Glasgow Rangers have not had the best of things in recent years.
The ‘Gers have had to work their way back up from the fourth tier of Scottish football after going into administration and losing their place in the top flight, and their last title was in 2011.

Still, that wasn’t always the case. On Monday, a video emerged on Twitter of a Sky Sports montage from the 1998/99 season, during which they finished top of the table. The clip was from after their 3-0 victory away to Celtic which saw them confirmed as champions of the division.

As you can imagine, it didn’t take long for the Ibrox outfit’s fans to react to the “brilliant” video, and it clearly brought back some great memories. They took to Twitter to share their thoughts and you can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:
