Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to a transfer update from Andy Newport, who said that the Gers will not be making a move for either Ben Davies or Thomas Robert.
The Gers have been linked with a number players already during this January transfer window, with the likes of Daniel Johnson (Football Insider) and Scott Wright (BBC) also mentioned as potential new arrivals. However, despite us now being two-thirds through the transfer window, there have been no new arrivals at Ibrox.

Press Association reporter Newport took to Twitter to provide an update on the Gers’ transfer business. Not only did he pour cold water on deals for Davies and Robert, he also said the 54-time Scottish champions are expecting to do “little to nothing” between now and the end of the month in terms of transfer business.
