According to Football Insider, West Ham United want to sign Connor Goldson from Glasgow Rangers as his contract talks with the Gers have stalled.
Hammers eye Goldson
The Hammers are currently in the top four in the Premier League, meaning there is a chance they could be playing Champions League football next season.

As such, they are already looking ahead to next term and are interested in signing the Gers’ £4.95m-valued (Transfermarkt) 28-year-old.
Must stay
While Steven Gerrard has been able to rely on a number of players so far this campaign, almost none have been as solid as Goldson.
Incredibly, the centre-back has not missed a single minute of action so far this campaign in all competitions (Transfermarkt) – the fact they have conceded just 23 goals illustrates how impressive he has been at the back.

Quite frankly, the Gers cannot afford to lose the former Brighton player. With the Premiership title seemingly just around the corner, the 54-time Scottish champions may also be embarking on a Champions League campaign of their own next term.
The last thing they want to do is lose their best players prior to that – any big sales would be sending the wrong message. With just one more season left on his contract, one of Ross Wilson’s first bits of business this summer must be offering Goldson a new deal to fend off any potential interest in his services.
In other news, one Rangers ace takes a thinly-veiled swipe at Gerrard.
