Glasgow Rangers: Fans love clip of 1999 goal against Celtic

The clips of famous Glasgow Rangers goals just keep on coming.

The current pandemic means there is plenty of time to kill, and that has led to several Twitter pages sharing goals from times gone by from the Gers. The club’s official account has posted at least one a day, and others such as WATP.com have also taken the opportunity to relive some fantastic memories.

On Tuesday, the latest offering – from 1999 – was revealed, and it involved some magnificent skill from Gabriel Amato. With two players defending against him on the right wing, he flicked the ball through Alan Stubbs’ legs, before riding a tackle just inside the box to set up Rod Wallace, who put the ball into the back of the net.

As you can imagine, this clip has got the club’s supporters talking, and it is fair to say they have enjoyed it – one fan even called it “outstanding”. They have taken to the social media platform to share their thoughts, and you can see some of the best comments below.
