Naismith spent five years with the Gers earlier in his career before moving to Everton in 2012, but has opted to move to Edinburgh with Hearts over a romantic return to Ibrox. The Scottish international has fallen out of favour at Carrow Road under Daniel Farke this season, but the 31-year-old now looks set for a return home in the coming days.
