Rangers: These fans laud Borna Barisic for pre-match comments

Rangers defender Borna Barisic was praised by fans on Twitter over comments he made in a press conference yesterday.

Speaking ahead of tonight’s Premiership encounter at Aberdeen, the Croatian left-back said he had “figured out” the competitive nature of matches in the Scottish top flight but added that his team are capable of winning any game in the division.

He said at the pre-game press conference: “I figured out the mentality here, that there is no easy game and that there is no game you cannot win. A lot of things changed for me and I am very happy.” [via @RangersFC]

Barisic is nearly halfway through his second season at Ibrox and after making just 22 appearances last season, he is well on his way to surpassing that this term – he will match that tally for the current campaign tonight if he is selected for the game at Pittodrie.
