The man concerned is Lille midfielder Renato Sanches, who Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have been heavily linked with in recent weeks (per CalcioMercato, via Goal), leading fans to rave about the potential signing. Supporters may remember the Portuguese midfielder when he served a brief spell at Swansea City back in 2017, only providing one assist in 15 appearances (TransferMarkt).
Sanches featured in Portugal’s 7-0 rout against Andorra as they continued preparing for their crucial Nations League clashes against France and Croatia during the international break.

The 23-year-old started as Os Navegadores lined up in a 4-3-3 formation. Sanches was on the right side of a midfield trio consisting of Wolves star Joao Moutinho and Sergio Oliviera of FC Porto.
