However a day of confusion began with Lyon issuing a terse statement on their website, rejecting Friday’s report that Fekir on was on the brink of moving to Anfield
‘The information on the transfer of Nabil Fekir is false. Olympique Lyonnais categorically denies the false information disseminated by the media about the transfer of Nabil Fekir to Liverpool.

Liverpool looked like they’d secured the services of Nabil Fekir with ease, but it now looks like they may struggle to push a deal through before the World Cup. Many of our local residents are extremely worried that the Frenchman will end up moving elsewhere or staying at his current club after hearing the latest news.
