Rodgers should ask the owners to sanction these 2 last-minute deals before 11pm on Tuesday

Brendan Rodgers has got his Celtic team flying in the Scottish Premier League this term, and they look unstoppable as they look once again to seal the league title.

The former Liverpool and Swansea manager has put his stamp on the Scottish giants now, and their style of play and form has been impressing many onlookers up and down both England and Scotland.

With January coming to an end, our Celtic fans here in the Transfer Tavern are wondering if there will be any last-minute action with regards to incomings at Celtic Park.

Talk at the dartboard is all about whether they can better prepare for next season – especially in Europe – and that a few new faces could be crucial to that.

With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO last-minute January deals Celtic might look to tie up…

Josh Morris

Scunthorpe man Morris has been a revelation this season for the Iron, and his form will have caught the attention of many clubs.

A move to Celtic though would not off the cards. Morris does only play in League One at the moment, but his quality is there for all to see, and he would be a real asset to the Bhoys.

Coming off the wing or playing down the middle, he is a real handful, and his finishing is second to none. This could be a wise signing for Rodgers and Celtic.

Alberto Moreno

Rodgers might turn to his former club in Liverpool and with Spaniard Moreno out of favour, Rodgers could look to take him north of the border.

Moreno is full of energy, pace, and power down the left hand side, but has so far lacked the defensive sense to become a top Premier League player.

Spending six months or so with Rodgers at Celtic Park could benefit him long term, and he might well do enough to seal a long term move.
